WWD MAGIC 2014: Baristart with Michael Breach

For those of you who don't know, I really enjoy a cup of coffee. This interest just kind of snuck up on me while I was a teenager. However, it wasn't until college where I was hooked on drinking a cup of joe every morning. So when I saw an espresso bar in the middle of MAGIC's ENK showroom floor, I had to check it out. Turns out, the espresso bar was set up for Michael Breach, a barista artist who was hired by ENK to show off his talents. Breach calls his work "baristart", creating portrait images on the top layers of espresso. He's more well-known for creating baristart of celebrities and movie characters like Oprah, Emma Stone, Harry Potter, Edward Scissorhands, and Steve Urkel. So forget that cute little heart or flower that you've probably always wanted drawn on your coffee. Give a picture of your favorite celebrity or movie character to Michael Breach and he'll draw their whole freaking face on there !
