OMGSH HIIIII!!! 😍 It’s so nice to meet you! I’m so excited that you are here. Okay, first thing’s first: My name is Graciella Krycer, NOT DIZZY SPANGLE! 🤣 I want to clear this up so there’s no confusion. Dizzy Spangle is just the name of my blog, although having the name “Dizzy” as a first name would be pretty awesome, not gonna lie! 😋
Back in 2014, I originally started DizzySpangle.com as a platform to interview others about their passions in life along with their style. As I continued to develop my platform, my friends encouraged me to share more of my own interests. To my surprise, people actually enjoyed reading what I shared about my life, so I decided to turn Dizzy Spangle into a lifestyle blog about three big passions I have:
1. My faith life
2. My favorite fashion and beauty items
3. My favorite food adventures!
Through heartfelt “Faithfully Honest” posts, sharing my “Beauty Picks & Tricks” of the moment, and featuring my favorite “Las Vegas Eats”, my blog has grown into a cultivated place where I feel truly connected with you all. It's been such an incredible blessing sharing my life on here and I’m forever grateful that I get to do what I love!
If you asked me why I write, it’s because I want to inspire others. God created me for a purpose, and as I continue to venture through life, I know creating this blog is part of the journey. 3. I truly enjoy coffee and the experience of drinking it. It’s very therapeutic for me.
4. I am married to the love of my life, Gedalya Krycer, also known in my blog as Gman. He is a coding master/graphic designer/photographer/Krav Maga fighting extraordinaire and I love him so!
5. I was born & raised in Michigan, lived in California, and currently reside in Nevada.
6. I am of Filipino descent, but am also Spanish, English, and Chinese.
7. I am part of the 30s club and I’m loving it more than ever!
8. I’m an extrovert-introvert. Although I love connecting with others, I also find deep solace in spending time with me, myself and I.
9. The name Dizzy Spangle comes from my love of The Goo Goo Dolls’s album Dizzy Up The Girl and my love for glitter.
10. I love a good redemption story! I enjoy learning about others and how they got to become the person they are, what inspires them, & the learning lessons they carry as badges of honor. I think that’s why I enjoy social media so much. I like connecting with others and drawing inspiration from them. A deep conversation with someone is gold.
11. I love the Lord. My testimony for God is ever-growing and he has radically changed my life for the better, better than I could have ever imagined for myself. 🙏🏼
12. I like to look for one thing or one person to inspire me every day.
