With Love & Co: Healing Balm // Beauty Picks & Tricks

I was first introduced to the brand when I went to the Vintage Market Day back in 2019. The event coordinators allowed some influencers to check out the event before opening weekend. I remember there was a buzz around a particular booth at the event where I met a lovely lady by the name of Teana, who happened to not only be the owner of the booth but also of the holistic health and beauty brand called With Love & Co.

She also told me this incredible story on how the brand got started.
A few years ago, Teana and her husband were camping when an accident occurred as her husband attempted to light a campfire. A cup of gasoline had hit a nearby log and bounce back, splashing his face. This caused painful burn wounds on her husband and for weeks on end, the couple went to the burn unit looking for answers to help heal his face.
They were told multiple times that putting on regular drug store lotion on the closed wounds would help him recover and that he would most likely lose parts of his face. This did not settle well with Teana. Her determination to find a solution to heal her husband got the best of her, which birthed her first product, a body butter called the “Healing Balm”.
The Healing Balm miraculously healed her husband’s skin and her product was a raging success to his doctors and the couple’s family and friends. With Love & Co. was eventually established where Teana and her team sell many natural products for beauty, skincare, along with other trinkets.
I remember staring at Teana, just thinking how amazing her story was. That night, I left with a bath bomb that she was giving away at the influencer event and made a note that I had to eventually check out her store at Downtown Summerlin.
My Experience
Fast forward to 2020, I experienced my first ever eczema breakout on my face and neck since I was 12 years old. I ate something that re-triggered my condition after many years of it being under control. I was devastated. My eyelids, skin around my mouth, and the front of my neck were red, bumpy, and very itchy! Plus, it was 100+ degrees here in Vegas and the sun was making my eczema even dryer. I started to think of what products I could use to heal my skin when I remembered With Love & Co.’s Healing Balm and the story about her husband.
So I drove to Downtown Summerlin, walked into the store, and looked around. I saw all the products displayed on the left side of the wall, while towards the back of the store, I saw employees creating products and filling jars with different concoctions, which told me that all the With Love & Co. skincare product sold in the store is actually created in-store.
I was approached by a gentleman and I explained what brought me to the store that day. Turns out, I was speaking to the main man highlighted in the story, Teana’s husband! His skin looked amazing and he raved about the Healing Balm. He mentioned that he put on the product throughout his day and since the ingredients were natural, it was safe to do so.

The Ingredients
So there are two versions of the Healing Balm:
Thick & Rich (Original)
Soft and Supple
The Healing Balm is made with:
Shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, aloe vera, vitamin E and C, hyaluronic acid, beeswax (and LOVE, of course).
The Healing Balm also….
Is free of paraffin, petroleum, and made from raw natural products.
Works to bring back firmness, pliability, and plumpness of skin.
Enhances the skin’s ability to heal such ailments as eczema, rashes, and other discomforting conditions.
Has brought about amazing skin restorations following burn accidents, scarring events, and other accident type situations.
Did you see that? The product is supposed to help with “eczema”. A glimmer of hope ignited into my head. What did I have to lose? Maybe $18, but I was pretty desperate to try anything at this point. So I bought my first container of the naturally made miracle-product-in-a-jar and rushed to my car. As soon as I was settled inside, I put a bit of the product onto the infected area to help with the itching.
The Results
As the days went on, I continued to use the Healing Balm on my eczema. At initial contact, it helped soothe the dryness and itchiness I felt on my skin along with helping calm the redness. After a few days of consistent use, it helped alleviate my skin completely and my face and neck returned back to their normal color and texture.
Although I initially bought this product to heal my eczema, I ended up loving the product so much that I replaced my Cerave body lotion with the Healing Balm. I started with the Thick and Rich formula and have transitioned to the Soft and Supple formula as I noticed it adds more hydration to my skin.
I remember the day I first tried the product as an all-over moisturizer. I was getting ready to see some friends and during our hang-out time, one friend complimented me on how well my skin looked. She was shocked to learn that I had an eczema reaction just days prior because my skin looked clear and healthy.
Guys, I wish I took pictures of what my skin looked like before so I could compare it to what it looks like now. But I can explain some of the changes I’ve seen on my skin now since I first used the product in June:
Along with helping my eczema, this product also helped heal my back acne. Aside from my face, my back broke out pretty badly. I am now realizing it was because of the lotion I was consistently using. The softer ingredients in the Healing Balm has tremendously reduced the inflammation on my back skin, where I now rarely break out versus experiencing breakouts every week.
I can be quite the klutz. But I’m not a regular klutz, I’m a “get hurt, but keep on moving” kind of klutz. If I get hurt, I just keep on going. Okay, maybe I pout a little for a brief moment, but I do keep going after that…On Sunday, December 13th, I accidentally burned my arm in the oven while I was taking out food. Remembering my Healing Balm, I put the balm on the burn. Since I use the product everyday, I’d apply the balm on the affected area. What was once an area that had two burn marks is now an area with two very faint scars. That was 2 and a half weeks ago. With almost every burn I’ve had, depending on the severity of it, it can take at least 2 months before the scar fades on my skin. This took a couple weeks.
It’s situations like these that really remind me what a special product the Healing Balm is.
