Army Jackets & Knits // Fashion Favorites

Well hello there, readers!

If you haven't noticed, I completely suck at posting lately. Haha! To be honest, I've just been so caught up on just focusing on the moment and have also been so TIRED lol. I've been avoiding anything that has to do with work after my 9-5pm job. It's been nice to take some time off from blogging and just focus on my day to day life. It's crazy how taking time to disconnect from social media for a few days can really do some good for the soul. But now I'm back to some late night working creating some new content for you guys :) It's nice to be able to have balance in life, right? I'm still trying to figure it out, but so far, so good!

Tooooooday, I wanted to share a great outfit for this windy and chilly weather we've got going on in Vegas. I love pairing edgy pieces with softer ones, like this army jacket, crochet dress and knits combo.

I randomly came up with this outfit one day during college before rushing off to class. You know how when you envision outfits in your head and just think it might work? That's pretty much how this outfit was created. Haha! And guess what, it worked! Actually, it worked out a lot better than expected because I usually wear this dress in the summertime. I think people underestimate how versatile some of the pieces are in their closet. This crochet dress from Target has definitely given me more use throughout the year and not for just one particular season.

I think people are sick of me wearing this green hat, but it's my absolute favorite. It's super soft and has held up for all the years I've had it. I thought the pop of color would work really well with the neutral and darker shades of the jacket, tights and dress.
