As I'm getting older, I'm noticing that my tolerance for dairy has gotten weaker. When I looked up this symptom, I found many articles that stated that about 65 percent of the worldwide population is not able to digest dairy properly. I am starting to become part of that 65 percent. *sad cry*
I LOVE dairy. I love milk, I love cheese, I love eggs, I love it all ! But now I have to find different ways to consume dairy.
So when I decided to make brownies one afternoon, I did some research and found that I could still have a sweet treat without the dairy by using banana as a substitution for eggs! And let me tell you...the result was just GLORIOUS.
These brownies are sooooooo good, but only if you actually like bananas and chocolate together and aren't allergic to either. Haha! I just used a Ghirardelli pre-made brownie mix and it worked for me. Of course, if you want to make the whole recipe dairy free (chocolate chips included), you could find a pre-made mix at Whole Foods, like Pamela's Chocolate Brownie Mix.
